Hi, I have received the RPI 4. My LE version 10.0.2 installation is currently on RPI 3B+ on the SD card. Can I simply exchange the SD card and insert it into RPI 4 and it will work, or do I need to reinstall LE on the new SD card?

As previously written I did an upgrade from LE 9.2.8 to 10.0.2 on RPI 3B+, but some add-ons produces a "failure" when updating them, likely due to python 3 dependancies. It's not a problem for me to reinstall LE onto a new SD card, is it possible to keep the "settings" from the current installation and upload them later onto the new card?

so.. just burned libreelec 10.0.2 image for RPi4... tried it on at least three diferent SD cards.. always with the same result: rainbow screen shows up and then: - monitor goes to standby (even freezes - no controls working and it is rubbish monitor), TV says no signal... and it boots something because it acquires IP address over SSH (can see it on router)
<obrut>
I wanted to say it is NOT rubbish monitor :P
<obrut>
anm I meant it acquires IP address over DHCP
<obrut>
it is clearly visible that my state of mind is not normal... pretty pissed off
<obrut>
anyone knows what to do ? ssh is not available because it must be enabled... through GUI :P

and 9.2.8 works like a charm... there is definitely something in default settings in 10.0.2 which fucks up my display (both monitor and tv)

obrut: try the other HDMI port
<mack>
or maybe try loading Raspberry OS and updating the Pi's firmware eeprom to the latest. LE 10's not updating it automatically as far as I can tell
