Sometimes when I turn my tv on, Kodi appears dimmed. If I press a key on the kodi remote it wakes up
<k-man>
However while dimmed it ignores input from the tv over cec
<k-man>
is there some way to prevent that sleep/dim mode it goes into?
<LEBot>
[slack] <klojum> Sounds like Kodi's dim screensaver kicking in. Just disable the screensaver.
<k-man>
Oh yay, found it as you said that, thanks klojum

hi, openelec user here. switched to libreelec 10. using it on raspi4. i'm missing web control option in services. tried to enable it in guisettings.xml (stopped kodi, edited, started kodi, rebooted), but the file seems to be ovewritten somehow. what's my problem or how can i enable web interface. cheers and sorry for a dumb question

[slack] <klojum> @starenka: Two things come to mind, port number and password. Do you have both set up correctly?
<LEBot>
[slack] <cvh> default port is 8080 these days

@LEBot: neither of it was the problem... i empirically realized, the `default` attrib was the problem... i wiped all of them in webserver related stuff
<starenka>
some of them just "got back", but hey, nmap says, it's up
