<vudiq> what is the reason behind the grub package on generic? because from what I see its only purpose is to build bootia32.efi, which you can also get from syslinux package (efi32/efi/syslinux.efi -> EFI/BOOT/bootia32.efi + efi32/com32/elflink/ldlinux/ldlinux.e32 -> EFI/BOOT/ldlinux.e32) and you're all set (you can boot on both 32-bit and 64-bit EFI)
<vudiq> you save time building grub and you can spare the grub.conf as well
<vudiq> because only time I saw grub was on 32bit efi machines, otherwise I get the syslinux boot: prompt. so I got curious why :)
