testuser[m]: After updating the nvidia drivers to version 515.57, I started getting flicker in sway. are you. Do you have the same?
<

Guest16: no check dmesg maybe gsp firmware didn't load
<
testuser[m]>
It's spotty sometimes it loads sometimes not but it became more reliable if i loaded both modules one by one in /etc/rc.d/nvidia.boot

<

also i think personal information usage is acceptable if it is absolutely necessary for the functioning of the program
<
illiliti>
thanks for feedback
<
illiliti>
that's debatable really
<
illiliti>
you need to provide example of such program
<
noocsharp>
msmtp requires my email address in order to send mail
kektagen has left #kisslinux [Bouncer going down...]
<
illiliti>
i don't consider email address as a personal information. i can't trackdown your precise IRL location by email address
<
illiliti>
but that's debatable too
<
illiliti>
for me, PI is IRL address, name, phone number and stuff like that
<
noocsharp>
also i would recommend against implying that tech-savvy people are inherently more intelligent than "normies"
<
noocsharp>
and you probably should use the word "normies" either if you want it to be taken seriously
<
noocsharp>
shouldn't *
<
illiliti>
what i meant is 'do not treat me like a dumb, ok?'. i'll rephrase fine
