<rcrews[m]> Hey guys. I'm stuck trying to create a Sinatra-based webapp, packaged as a WAR for Tomcat 9. My app is a simple microservice that receives a URL as a parameter and returns an HTTP 302 message with a redirect URL. If I use the released version of Warbler, I run into https://github.com/jruby/warbler/issues/508 and if I use the HEAD version from GitHub, I run into https://github.com/jruby/warbler/issues/537. Seems others are able to run Rails
<rcrews[m]> with JRuby. Is my problem related to Sinatra, or maybe my technique is off? I did this many, many times without blinking last year, but I have not been able to get it going now for several months. I documented my technique last January at https://github.com/rcrews/microservice_template but as of today, I can only get my January solution to run if I start Tomcat from within my git repo. I've tried with Java 11, 17, 19, 20, several different
<rcrews[m]> versions of Sinatra and Bundler, etc. I'm using RVM to manage my Ruby versions. Can someone give me pointers on how to create a WAR that I can deploy on my production server?

<headius> Good morning!
<headius> rcrews: I think enebo and kares we're looking into updating warbler last week

<rcrews[m]> Thanks @headius. Right, I saw recent messages suggesting activity on Warbler. I'm happy to to use my Sinatra/Tomcat project to validate updates if it will help.
