why is there no additional request from Crowdsupply to confirm the shipping address before things get shipped? I tried updating my shipping address 3 months ago, opened a ticket, ... nothing happened. today I get the shipping confirmation to the wrong/old address. great <irony> work Crowdsupply </irony>

Sorry it happened cfy_yfc unfortunately I don't have any control over this. I would contact CrowdSupply again and see what happened. Let's hope your package gets send back to mouser.
<esden[cis]>
based on the drawings, it is unlikely that the short was caused by the test pads.
<esden[cis]>
I can imagine that the very edge of the top case in the right top dug into the SDA trace and connected it to ground? Hard to say.
<esden[cis]>
In any case, I am working on insulating "gaskets" spent a bunch of time researching options to cut them. I think a vinyl cutter and some thin anti static plastic might be the way to mitigate potential issues.
<esden[cis]>
Maybe I will be able to go to the local hacker space to try cutting some prototypes on their vinyl cutter this weekend.
<whitequark[cis]>
thank you^^ that was really quick!!
<esden[cis]>
:) I hope we can get a satisfying solution.The good thing about the gaskets is that they will be thing enough to send them in envelopes to all the people that already got their glasgows.
<galibert[m]>
Bad side of not being early bird: no Glasgow yet. Good side : will be throughly debugged

yeah, there's a few quirks (zoom to selection seems to only consider part of tracks, and the lines from the outline are maybe a little *too* thin) but it works surprisingly well
