<dnkl> hmm, I might be mis-remembering... might be this combo never worked on my laptop. In my case, I think it's a (physical) keyboard issue. The combo works if I use the right control key instead of the left one (which I've remapped to caps-lock, so really it's caps-lock+shift+x that doesn't work for me)
<dnkl> regarding clashing bindings, foot sees and handles shortcuts *before* sending them to the shell (or whatever application is currently running in the terminal)
<dnkl> i.e. it'd be bash's key bindings that stops working, not foots)
<dnkl> but if you have bound the same combo in your compositor, then it's foot that'll never see it
