<cwt[m]> > <@davidlt:matrix.org> sudo dnf install qemu-user-static-riscv
<cwt[m]> we should set releasever=33 ?
<cwt[m]> > sudo dnf -y --skip-broken --releasever=33 --setopt=install_weak_deps=0 --forcearch=riscv64 --nogpgcheck --installroot=$PWD/tmp_rootfs --repofrompath="fedora-riscv,http://fedora.riscv.rocks/repos-dist/rawhide/latest/riscv64/" --repo=fedora-riscv install @core
<davidlt[m]> No, I mentioned this needs adjustment.
<davidlt[m]> It's a command from notes/shell history.
<cwt[m]> There is a working dnf package on Arch, I'm trying to install fedora on another btrfs subvolume.
<cwt[m]> If I'm going to boot my kernel with fedora, I should enable selinux in my kernel, right?
<cwt[m]> ls

<davidlt[m]> Yes, but technically you can disable it.
<cwt[m]> The Arch doesn't have any selinux related package, so I didn't enable it in the kernel. I think I will enable and rebuild my kernel tonight.
<cwt[m]> btw, `dnf groupinstall "Minimal Install" --skip-broken` done.
<cwt[m]> it works! Fedora is running on my VF2 now.
<somlo> davidlt[m]: just got home last night, and had a chance to test the latest debug build
<somlo> currently, the list of "problematic" kernel config options for fedora on litex/rocket is: CONFIG_PRINTK_INDEX, CONFIG_COMPAT_32BIT_TIME, and CONFIG_FB_EFI
<somlo> I now enabled all the remaining untested ones, hopefully there are no more :)
<somlo> btw, really nice meeting you in person! :)

<dtometzki> @cwt do you have some documentation of the steps ?
<dtometzki> * cwt: do you have some documentation of the steps ?
<cwt[m]> dtometzki: not yet, what I did just create a new subvolume for fedora and dnf groupinstall "Minimal Install" --skip-broken --installroot=/mnt/fedora
<cwt[m]> create initramfs via dracut and then edit the extlinux.conf to boot my kernel to mount / on fedora subvolume
<cwt[m]> I will document it soon, may be this weekend.
<dtometzki> great
<omac777_2022> cwt YOU ARE A SUPERHERO!
<cwt[m]> I'm rebuilding my kernel with selinux enabled. should finish in 2 hours ✌️
<omac777_2022> Awesome!
