<pnw_tech>
anyone here?
<mort>
hi
<pnw_tech>
mort are you a network expert on the beagleboard?
<mort>
no, but I've messed with networking in Linux a fair bit so I might know a thing or two
<pnw_tech>
I know netowkrs and have done it for years first starting with centos in 1997. But the beeagleboard is not behaving correctly when editing and changing the /etc/network/interfaces or the /etc/resolv.conf
<pnw_tech>
I can do a manual edit at command line of ifconfig eth0 and ping the gateway..but that is not perm.
<pnw_tech>
I can ping the gateway but not google dns server ip
