<mranostaj> rcn-ee: so question for omap-image-builder is possible to build some packages into the generated image, or at least copy over some files into the rootfs?

<rcn-ee> @mranostaj, pretty much do anything in these target scripts: https://github.com/RobertCNelson/omap-image-builder/tree/master/target/chroot they are done after everything is setup and before archival..

<Guest65> Hello
<Guest65> is BEAGLEBONE BLACK INDUSTRIAL by Seeed Tech CE Certified?
<Guest65> can any one please help?
<vagrantc> you might ask Seeed
<Guest65> not responding!
<Guest65> can anyone help?
<vagrantc> in the topic is says "please be patient | PLEASE BE PATIENT" ...
<vagrantc> so, uh, a bit of patience :P
<zmatt> it would seem strange to me if it didn't have CE/FCC certification... though such questions are generally best asked to the distributor
<zmatt> I think the BBB industrial is the same design as the BBB, just with components that have an extended temperature rating for low temperatures?
<zmatt> so presumably the CE compliance of the BBB also applies to the BBB industrial
<zmatt> maybe jkridner knows this authoritively, if he happens to be here
<jkridner> it is FCC/CE tested, yes. I may need to upload the new test report to github.
<Guest65> thanks a lot team

<kveremitz> rcn-ee: we should get your builder linked up to builds.bb.org again ;P
<kveremitz> or not so much 'again' as linked up..
<kveremitz> and builds. can live once again
<kveremitz> (which was what I was trying to convey)
russ has quit [Ping timeout: 240 seconds]
<rcn-ee> @kveremitz, "qemu" is finally working pretty well... Debian 11/Ubuntu 20.04.... what is builds.bb.org running?
<rcn-ee> I'm doing a daily build of bullseye.. http://gfnd.rcn-ee.org:8080/view/BeagleBoard/job/daily-armhf-builds/
<rcn-ee> @kveremitz, my biggest problem, since i work from home now 24/7 my 50/60MiB upload get's swampped by day job zoom, wife's college class's..
<rcn-ee> so if we can build in the cloud, i think that would be better now..
<rcn-ee> my provider is promising 2GiB/2GiB in a year or two over fiber, so maybe by then!
<kveremitz> rcn-ee: oof
<kveremitz> rcn-ee: you'd have to check where builds. goes .. I think jason (ping jkridner) has left it 'open'/dead
<rcn-ee> yeah previous we built it externally, and ssh'ed it up..
<rcn-ee> i'd like to just build it via qemu on the server...
<rcn-ee> and how long do we want to store it? voodoo@hestia:/mnt/freenas_mirror/rcn-ee.us$ du -sh ./rootfs/
<rcn-ee> 1.5T./rootfs/

<mranostaj> rcn-ee: so do chroot_after_hook scripts have to be in target/chroot ?
<rcn-ee> @mranostaj, it's just copied... i think... looks up..
<rcn-ee> chroot_script_external and just change it to sudo cp -v "${chroot_script_external}" "${tempdir}/final.sh"
<rcn-ee> would that work for you?
<mranostaj> rcn-ee: anything that allows me to to run a script after the chroot process is fine
<mranostaj> doesn't seems to execute currently
<rcn-ee> okay, done. ;)
<rcn-ee> it's called by /bin/bash, are you getting any debug info from it?
<rcn-ee> you should see a "start" and "cleanup" in your stdout log: https://gist.github.com/RobertCNelson/bb757ef7578faba9d996f58942eef033 for example..
<rcn-ee> it is fun to debug since nothing has really started, you kinda have assume nothing: https://github.com/RobertCNelson/omap-image-builder/blob/master/target/chroot/beagleboard.org-buster.sh#L23-L38
<mranostaj> rcn-ee: problem is i need to copy stuff that isn't in the chroot
<rcn-ee> ah... how did machinekit do it..
<rcn-ee> @mranostaj, they used chroot_before_hook and ssh/git cloned their files into the chroot..
<mranostaj> looking at it now
<mranostaj> ah think i see my problem
