<tenkawa42> No. On the Star64 it is a blue trigger led
<DC-IRC>
<tenkawa42> this was from a star64

<c0rnelius77> Do you have a renegade?
<Hammdist>
I think the dts was likely copy pasted from a previous generation product ... sure, I appreciate that I will bear the functions in mind in case I need them. for now I just need to signal readiness for ssh
<DC-IRC>
<tenkawa42> no.. I was just giving him a "concept" idea
<DC-IRC>
<c0rnelius77> the colors in the dts don't relate to the color in the dts
<DC-IRC>
<tenkawa42> actually they do
<DC-IRC>
<c0rnelius77> the colors in the dts don't relate to the color of the leds
<DC-IRC>
<tenkawa42> if they are written correctly
<DC-IRC>
<tenkawa42> All my red/green ones are correctly named to their leds
<DC-IRC>
<c0rnelius77> ok Tenkawa. Sorry. I forgot you know about HW u don't own.
<DC-IRC>
<tenkawa42> @c0rnelius77 hardware isn't going to be correct 100% of the time... but concepts are still adaptable... its better than nothing..
<DC-IRC>
<c0rnelius77> No one said they weren't. I was just pointing out a flaw in the DTS.
<DC-IRC>
<c0rnelius77> Case in point; `is there any way to blink the onboard red and green leds` yet echoing into yellow.
<archetech>
nerd wars
<DC-IRC>
<c0rnelius77> Tenkawa loves to argue.
<archetech>
I know
<DC-IRC>
<tenkawa42> lets see if archetech can answer it...
<Hammdist>
as long as it blinks the green led I don't mind writing to the yellow sysfs file ...
<DC-IRC>
<c0rnelius77> yeap there is and you found it.

<c0rnelius77> We could put a patch in and correct the DTS flaw and also add sane LED defaults. It is a pretty minor change for the Renegade.
<DC-IRC>
<c0rnelius77> I vote to also change the model name too; `Firefly Renegade`

<pookyfan> I've got something new on this matter and wanted to add this to my question but I'd rather not multipost
<DC-IRC>
<skorupion> So you most likely can't edit because you are still in the validating phase (that automaticly gets switched over to an user after 24 hours). As for the edit I can edit it manually. Please DM me with the changes you'd like to be made
<DC-IRC>
<pookyfan> Hmmm but I have my account for over 24hrs and it's still in validating phase
<DC-IRC>
<igorpec> Approved reply is needed to auto-promote
<DC-IRC>
<pookyfan> So unless I reply to some other thread I will stay in validating phase? Kinda sucks, since I'm new to Armbian and not able to help others atm
