<rpardini> @infinity_q yeah eliminate HW problem using Joshua's or Armbian image first. I've also been around problems with the r8125 driver (which is from Realtek itself, hammered into the Rockchip kernel, possibly by Radxa?) vs using the r8169 rockchip driver (which reads MACs from rk vendor partition). Try `CONFIG_R8169=m` and `CONFIG_R8125=m` in .config; if r8125 is `=y` it will load f <clipped message>

<rpardini> irst and not give the rk one a chance. Another: make sure you're actually using `enP4p65s0` and not `enP3p49s0` or vice versa, maybe plug both in or switch the cable.

<infinity_q> yeah, I tried jrieks ubuntu, still didn't work, *then* I tried with another opi5 and it still didn't work. which I then discovered that the only ethernet port on my router died. so it was nothing to do with the Opi hardware or my OS

<infinity_q> it just coincidentally happened when I upgraded to rkr6

<godzilla8253> Any help to unbrick this board? It should be a rk3228a but it instantly briked after I flashed it with multitool
