<yang2> Hello, I tried to copy the FS from SD card onto NVMe on Radxa Rock 5b. It seems that I was successfull with that, so the system now resides on nvme0n1p2. There is also a mtdblock0 partition made - https://transfer.sh/GNkp7V/nvme.png . The problem I have is if I take out the SD card , it doesn't boot with NVMe and eMMC, if I put in the SD card it boots the SD partitions...
<yang2> Tenkawa, I changed the /etc/fstab to match /dev/nvme0n1p2 for the root partition, then /boot/armbianEnv.txt rootdev= (entry) to match nvme0n1p2 and now it works
<yang2> not sure if it's all right though
<yang2> partition /var/log is very small, I'd like to move it to NVMe drive
<yang2> I am getting /var/log filled up with messages
<yang2> logs
<DC-IRC> <Tenkawa> yang2: thats part of the armbian log service
<DC-IRC> <Tenkawa> theres a setup for that in /etc/default
<DC-IRC> <Tenkawa> possibly in the menu too
<DC-IRC> <Tenkawa> I usually edit the file though
<DC-IRC> <Tenkawa> I think its the armbian-ramlog
<DC-IRC> <Tenkawa> read it closely because it advises to edit other zram files in conjuntion
<yang2> Tenkawa I have scrolled through /etc/default/armbian-zram-config and /etc/default/armbian-ramlog , but don't see what I'd need to change
<DC-IRC> <Tenkawa> just a sec
<DC-IRC> <Tenkawa> # size of the tmpfs mount -- please keep in mind to adjust /etc/default/armbian-zram-config too when increasing
<DC-IRC> <Tenkawa> SIZE=50M
<DC-IRC> <Tenkawa> you can set it to false and it should leave it on the drive
<DC-IRC> <Tenkawa> up in
<DC-IRC> <Tenkawa> ENABLED=
<DC-IRC> <Tenkawa> it should leave /var/log on the hard drive then
<DC-IRC> <Tenkawa> I have mine set to false
<DC-IRC> <Tenkawa> I like keeping mine permanent too
<DC-IRC> <Tenkawa> not just in ram per boot
<yang2> ok cool
<yang2> Tenkawa, thank you
