<Tenkawa> Ok if thats the case... check your udev rules

<Tenkawa> make sure you have one to allow users access to the devices or add yourself to the audio group

<Tenkawa> Reason I initally thought it might have been pipewire is chromium and a few apps switched the apis they use to communicate and wasn't sure if it might have been using that (I don't use sound on Linux anymore.... they made a mess of it back when I used it)

<Robin> Seems like the group permission allows me to see the audio device, but I wasn't able to test it yet if it really works
