<DC-IRC> <Oscar Björkman> @laserarma Did it work?
<DC-IRC> <laserarma> not really working right now, i compiled the driver as mesa3d.com's guide but unluckily i still ain't got it to work
<DC-IRC> <laserarma> it still uses llvmpipe for x11 and still getting errors like "EGL_BAD_CONFIG" when creating contexts
<DC-IRC> <laserarma> i read on their website that disabling llvm is safe, but i don't know how to do it lol
<DC-IRC> <Oscar Björkman> @laserarma I tried following the same guide and there was an option -Dllvm=disabled when building mesa but I still wasn't able to get it to not use llvmpipe.
<DC-IRC> <Oscar Björkman> Some other guy claims there is issue with dtb having gpu disabled in some images. His dtb files can be found on the radxa discord (https://rock.sh/go) in the rockpi-4-series-images channel. Idk if this works but this is the chanel link: https://discordapp.com/channels/855634073376260096/964324663096381500
<DC-IRC> <Oscar Björkman> I can't say whether it is true or not but it could be worth looking into. I'm gonna have to shelf my attempts for a while so I haven't digged into that yet, just thought I'd share what I found so far.
<DC-IRC> <laserarma> i'll take a look shortly but certainly not today.. i had enough 😆 , thanks a lot for sharing!
