I just happened to notice nextpnr's "new" Himbachel API. However there doesn't appear to be any directions on how to build support/setup for any archs. Does this mean that it's not in a state where people can reasonably test it, or just that the docs aren't writen (or maybe... that I failed my doc search ...)?
<gatecat>
dormito: which arch are you interested in? currently the only himbaechel one that's any kind of ready is gowin, where there are some short build instructions in the readme: https://github.com/YosysHQ/nextpnr?tab=readme-ov-file#gowin
<gatecat>
or are you interested in adding a new arch to it?
<dormito>
gatecat: I thought I saw somthing about xilinx support that's what I would have been most interested in (but from what you said, that's probably not in a usable state yet)
<gatecat>
it's not, unfortunately

AT this exact moment I'm not looking to add support for any thing, but eventually getting Avant chips support would be neat (I could swear the dev boards were available several months ago... but mouser lists them as "comming soon", so maybe not)
