<digetx>
it works for awhile and then starts to fail with that
<digetx>
the performance is suspiciously bad, I'm not paying attention to perf for now, but could be a related problem
<digetx>
I was running lxde that is very slow and it should be very fast

digetx: any tips on how to reproduce? just run lxde?

cyndis: yes, you should notice immediately that something is wrong in comparison to v1 uapi; I was running it on T20, hence assume iommu=disabled
<cyndis>
ack
<digetx>
I was starting lxde, running mpv and moving video around for couple seconds, those errors appeared about minute later, default lxde has tray icons that periodically draw cpu load graph and updating clock time
<digetx>
running video should be unnecessary
<digetx>
I may take a closer look later today
<cyndis>
i'm not super confident about the buffer unmapping on xf86-video-opentegra side, could be it's failing to unmap unneeded buffers
<cyndis>
and accumulating a lot of them
<cyndis>
though would expect to get an -ENOMEM then I guess
<cyndis>
-EPERM sounds like a job timed out and the syncpoint was locked
<digetx>
it could be a userspace problem, I haven't looked at the code much yet
<digetx>
for now I want to get maximum things working even unoptimally so I could review it more easily
