azonenberg: when the large hydraulic mag base arms are to expensive (the large 550mm ones are 400eur per pcs) or not strong enough anymore I usually have a few Manfrotto 244N around.
<azonenberg>
Yeah i'm looking at some Noga stuff
<azonenberg>
they look to have a 45mm, 1", and 2" clamp that you can put at the end of the arm
<azonenberg>
one of those should fit my vacuum, just have to measure the nozzle
<azonenberg>
the other option is loc line, it looks like it goes up to 1"
<azonenberg>
but 3/4" is the largest commonly stocked
<darthrake>
there is manfrotto 035 "super clamp". clamps everything up, round or squre 15-55mm
<darthrake>
the noga stuff is certainly nicer.
<azonenberg>
Yeah. I'm gonna look at all these options and think about what makes the most sense
<darthrake>
but at I would guess 2x the price
<azonenberg>
the goal is just to have dust/chip collection on the mill with good performance and be easy to quickly disconnect so i can clean the floor etc
<azonenberg>
and not be constantly annoyed that my painter's tape holding the shopvac in the general direction of the mill came loose again while i was working :p
<azonenberg>
Also, just took a pass through the glscopeclient manual, specifically the filter section. Not good :p
<azonenberg>
We have 136 filters of which only 10 have full docs, 19 more have at least a paragraph of text but are missing at least one of (screenshot, list of parameters, list of inputs, description of outputs)
<azonenberg>
another 94 have a one sentence description, and the last 13 have an empty heading with no content whatsoever
<azonenberg>
miek: my vacuum cleaner is only like 1.25" or so hose diameter
<azonenberg>
so i dont want to go too big and have the static pressure drop horribly
<azonenberg>
3/4" might work better
massi has quit [Remote host closed the connection]
<electronic_eel>
i don't have experience with their larger indicator holders, but i have a "regular" sized noga and it is good quality. also have a atorn brand one, quality is about the same
<electronic_eel>
i fixed several stlyes of clamps to them and use them to hold connectors and wiring for soldering
