rapha: Western Europe. Generally it is well developed in terms of infrastructure and services, some countries have social services that are among the best in the world (Netherlands, Denmark, etc). Poverty isn't as profound there. Even though it still exists, and many struggle to get by nowadays, it is a different kind of poverty.

<myappie>
maybe part of the reason is because they're small and easy to manage?
<myappie>
some countries are just too big u know? like the us..

different kind of poverty, yep that's it. like i live in a rich country but me and my friends are all poor. we have enough money for food and shelter, and often have to beg from family.

A high tax rate for the wealthy too. The bracket to 50% of your income isn't that high in the Netherlands / Denmark, but what you lose in personal wealth is gained by society as a whole.

It's a bit nonsensical to me how billionaires operate in the US, and how self-centered and ego-centric they can be but until the government is invested in social programmes rather than war, and foreign influence I don't think it would make much of a difference anyway.
<myappie>
yeah for real!

im definitely gonna try to see how it's like being a billionaire in the US some time

its weird because you meet these strange entities. most of them are made out of crystals, some of them are pure ruby
<myappie>
and they take you on strange adventures. with me it was two gorgeous females made entirely out of emeralds. they took my hands and flew me to the heavens. but the trip got interrupted by this guy who started shouting and it scared away these entities. who knows what they wanted to show me up there in heaven :shrug:
<NonatoAguiar>
myappie It was just curiosity, because I live in Brazil!
<NonatoAguiar>
But precisely in Natal

here you will find people who "play" cards (tarot), whelks, read palms, but for me this is all nonsense

and in cases where people who are misinformed, or misinformed, or even who enter slums in cities like Rio de Janeiro by mistake, it may be that you find these entities that you mentioned, now, it's the kind of thing that is just passing by one way, if you know what I mean.

like this aint no hippie stuff, serious scientists are working trying to extend the duration of such trips (since they're very very short, unless you do the natural form ayahuasca)
<myappie>
ive only done it once, but thats whats so scary. you lose consciousness and wake up in this world with these beings. and since there are plenty of theories in math about higher dimensions, scientists think this might be our way in

one of the reasons why discord is nice because you can always challenge the bulliest to a voice call and they stop immediately.
