I installed rvm and ruby 3.0.0 earlier. I followed the complicated directions at https://rvm.io/rvm/install and everything was working fine, but then irb crashed my shell, so I opened a new terminal. Now I don't have `rvm` or `ruby` in my PATH as either a normal user or root. How do I figure out where ruby and rvm are installed and what the proper way is to go about using them? I don't want to just repeat my steps and wind up
<mynameisdebian>
with overlapping instances of different programs, that's the whole reason for which I installed rvm and waded through their crappy directions.
<mynameisdebian>
Everyone says, "use rvm", don't use "apt", but at least apt gives me some consistently-working version of ruby and doesn't involve a lot of time to figure out or debug later.
<mynameisdebian>
I installed as root and I added both uses to the "rvm" group

Hi, I've been reading Rails documentation and I find unclear how to build an actual JS manifest. I'm using rails 7 with raw JS and CSS, relying only on import maps. I'd like to provide a series of shortcuts as documented here: https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/Manifest/shortcuts

Anyone on Linux can run a piece of code for me ? Trying to determine difference, if any, between Linux & BSD in regards to Errno::ENOBUFS.
<ox1eef_>
Ah. Looks like the key difference is write vs write_nonblock.

All good in the end. I was wondering why some code raised Errno::ENOBUFS when I expected it to block, and the reason was that I was using write_nonblock() instead of write().
