<Momentum>
how is ruby-lsp compared aolargraph? i've had a lot of issues with solargraph hopefully this is a better alternative
<Momentum>
compared to solargraph*
<adam12>
Momentum: I haven't tried ruby-lsp, but from what I've seen, it's probably not equally comparable yet.
<adam12>
Momentum: Solargraph can/will look at Ruby stdlib, and use YARD tags. I am not sure ruby-lsp does?
<adam12>
it also won't format yet, afaik, where as solargraph will call rubocop.
<Momentum>
i see, not sure either but seems like shopify is putting some effort on it

Momentum: I bet it will get there.

With the new parser being written, maybe we'll see even more tooling around this.

Doom Emacs (maybe through ruby-mode ?) integrates rubocop into emacs. Most of the time it's helpful, but sometimes there's a Ruby version mismatch so it errors and won't stop interrupting every so often with the same error over and over again.

I'm now using the Standardrb LSP integration with Neovim and it's beautiful.
<adam12>
I submitted PRs to both lsp-zero and nvim-lspconfig to ensure standardrb is supported out of box.
