20:44 <Snektron> hi, im having trouble starting up some games on river 2.4/2.3 and i think that it may have something to do with the X Error of failed request: BadWindow (invalid Window parameter) messages that i keep seeing. Is this known? I couldn't find anything on github

21:24 <leon-p> games generally do weird things w.r.t. windowing, including windows-isms and generally lazy / bad decissions

22:16 <Snektron> after some extra research i found this issue: https://github.com/ValveSoftware/steam-for-linux/issues/9164 so it may actually be related to steam and now river/wayland. The error messages are exactly the same, though
