20:17 <borneoa___> PaulFertser: there is ticket 306, and few messages around it but no real complain from distro maintainers. But the author of 8185 is a maintainer. I haven't checked how many distro have ever enabled the dependency, but I suspect they are simply disabling libgpiod from the build.
