<shrit[m]> That is really cool that you can host your server in a colocation company
<shrit[m]> I have never seen anything like that
<shrit[m]> That what I found online "Atlanta is one of the most cost-effective cities for colocation"
<shrit[m]> we should all send our servers to Ryan in this case
<rcurtin[m]> yeah, there are lots of colo companies around here... the only problem is, mlpack.org is only a tiny 1U system, but most of these companies want to sell you a half rack (21U) or full rack (42U), and that's a bit more than I needed 😄
<rcurtin[m]> so it was actually a little difficult to find some company that was willing to sell only 1U
<rcurtin[m]> gitdub went crazy again this morning... hope nobody on the mlpack-git list minds 250 emails

<shrit[m]> I was looking for colocation as well, I found in France you can rent from 1U to 3U with the same price which is 119 euros
<shrit[m]> I was not aware of that, and it is very expensive
<shrit[m]> if you have a 3U server and you can compress everything inside, GPUS, HDD, SDD, efficient Xeon processors then 119 euros per month is not a lot
<shrit[m]> I have partial components of 3U server, I was acquiring them slowly during my thesis to make them my fixed PC. However at the end I kept the university workstation since no one cared
<shrit[m]> It seems that most of these gitdub emails are old, as if they were delayed or blocked and now are released
