< naywhayare> george___: the issue you were having with Armadillo was tracked down further; it was specific to Armadillo 4.550.0 and 4.550.1 using gcc 4.4.x
< naywhayare> you can use the just-released Armadillo 4.550.2 and that will work, or, an older Armadillo (4.500.x or older) will also work
< george___> Hi, interesting thanks, that might solve my issues. I managed to get a hacky solution working on my cluster using an ancient armadillo and matlab's kd tree (which requires me to quadruple my data)
