naoki: I think emmc with microsd adapter may only have worked on my rk3288 and rk3328 devices, they use the same dw mmc controller for sd-card and emmc, on rk3399 and newer use separate sdhci controller for emmc so may no longer work in a similar way ?

macromorgan: u-boot probably use part of the ddr area that optee is using, looking at the pr, it opted to use the vendor memory area instead of the memory area that is used by e.g. rk3399 and px30, try change optee to use same memory are as those and there will probably be less chance of trouble with u-boot and compressed kernels
<Kwiboo>
also use of 128KB for CFG_DTB_MAX_SIZE is probably almost too small, rk3588 is closing in on that size
<Kwiboo>
in my u-boot build rk3588s-indiedroid-nova.dtb is around 97 KiB and rk3588-rock-5b.dtb is around 107 KiB
<Kwiboo>
also looking at optee code look like SMP bit is enabled, if I recall correctly that (and crypto) caused issues for rk356x and rk3588 when enabled in U-Boot, so could be related to your rest of cpu core bring up issue?
