<f_> xdarklight: right, I do see something in /sys/class/udc on my lepotato
<f_> xdarklight: okay, I noticed something:
<f_> aquaman says: gxbb_usb1 0 0 0 166666667 0 0 50000 N deviceless no_connection_id
<f_> lepotato says: gxbb_usb1 1 1 0 166666667 0 0 50000 Y c9100000.usb otg
<f_> The other gxbb_usb's are identical which makes sense
<f_> that N/Y is `hardware enable`

<f_> xdarklight: okay I diffed between lepotato DT and mine, looks like dr_mode was wrong
<f_> I set it to "host" now and it finally works
<f_> well, "works" is a broad term
<f_> It's no longer throwing errors and it's in /sys/class/udc now
<f_> but USB networking seems to need a bit more lifting
<f_> (well, my computer doesn't see the usb at all)
<f_> (and this also happens on lepotato I think)
<xdarklight> f_: hmm, that clocks is CLKID_USB1 - that's likely different because it got disabled again once dwc2 failed to probe
<xdarklight> f_: odd, host mode means that dwc2 is not involved so your aquaman shouldn't be able to enable peripheral mode (to be detected as usb network controller by a computer)

<f_> xdarklight: Very odd.

<f_> the fact that dr_mode=host meaning dwc2 won't be involed makes sense though
<f_> involved*

<f_> xdarklight: changed dr_mode to "peripheral" and now I get USB networking, awesome :D
<f_> A eth1 iface appeared on my computer
<f_> still strange that a UDC would appear at all when dr_mode="host"..

<xdarklight> f_: congrats! :-)
<xdarklight> f_: not sure when a device appears in UDC or not. but since it's working: let's call it good ;)
<f_> xdarklight: :)
<f_> great, so I now have internet access on the thing
<f_> so it's no longer completely useless ;)
<f_> Bus 001 Device 070: ID 18d1:d001 Google Inc. Nexus 4 (fastboot)
<f_> :D
