<darkling>
Tonight, my media box (x86) has decided that it's only going to boot to a black screen with a mouse pointer on it.
<darkling>
It's running LibreElec 9.0.2 (I think), and I've not attempted to update or modify the configuration recently.
<darkling>
I don't think I've got any plugins installed -- again, nothing updated or modified that I'm aware of.
<darkling>
I've tried deleting (a) the profile, (b) the gui config, and (c) the entirety of .kodi, with no noticeable effect.
<darkling>
Looking at the wiki, most of the log file options need access to the GUI, which I don't have, and of the others, "pastekodi" says there's no such command, and I don't have SMB set up.
<darkling>
I've got several questions: Why has this happened? What can I do to debug it further, and how do I fix it?

OK, never mind. I reinstalled with 10.0 and it seems to be working.

<ponyofdeath>

<shibboleth>
iirc/afaik you need a cmdline/config.txt arg?

my pi4 did ... something weird when it (i think) tried to upgrade to 10
<aphirst>
i turned the tv on and i just saw "libreelec 9.97" or whatever in the corner
<aphirst>
anyway after a hard reboot and a *manual* update, it seems OK so far
<aphirst>
though it no longer has a CPU name in the system information
<aphirst>
might do a clean isntall to 10 tomorrow just for good measure
