fuckin christ
<
midfavila>
i think i might have found an old script that builds an 8.2.0 toolchain for riscv64
<
midfavila>
i got all the binaries done, there was just some iffiness with building libcc1
<
midfavila>
so once that's solved i should have a native 8.2.0 toolchain, and from there, i can work on getting a proper kiss chroot...
<
midfavila>
after that, it's a matter of setting up the rootfs to be able to handle an initrd, and then... something
<
sad_plan>
midfavila: does musl-cross-make not work for you for this?
<
midfavila>
problem wasnt building a cross, but a host
<
midfavila>
i tried 11 and 14 and there were issues with redefinitions or something but 8.2.0 doesn't seem to have those issues
<
midfavila>
also very possible i wasnt configuring it properly
<
midfavila>
then again 8.2 is using the same flags so mmmnnmhmmnm.
<
midfavila>
i seriously don't know if this is a me thing or a gcc thing because it's a bit of an odd target
<
midfavila>
i've never had an issue building gcc before though, even with crosses
<
midfavila>
there we go
<
midfavila>
mfw musl has a riscv-musl-native toolchain in binary form...
