so today's realization... most of the tests in mavengem and related projects use a local saved copy of rubygems.org data for integration testing... many of which no longer are available on the real site
<headius>
so like half of these features would just b

he's giving a master class in how to wreck a company
<enebo[m]>
There's this new hot social media app x.com
<enebo[m]>
the funniest thing I saw yesterday is he hired some boom truck to take down twitter and the bird outside sf hq
<enebo[m]>
he did not get a permit and the sfpd stopped it at 'er' and the bird
<headius>
yeah he's really bad at this
<enebo[m]>
It really is incredible when you think about spacex and tesla
<enebo[m]>
Like he may actually have made those less successful than they currently are

it is some random dudes claims but it makes sense after seeing how twitter is going
<headius>
keep him from doing a Titan submersible
<enebo[m]>
he does want to go to mars...less pressure but more risk
<headius>
woot, finally figured out where to force user-agent to be something rubygems.org rejects
<headius>
now we'll see how many tests actually fail

well I have some endpoints working with the new v2 API but others I think I'm going to have to combine APIs to get the full set of data
<headius>
the test I'm stuck on expects that a fetched gem with ruby, java, and mingw32 versions will automatically pick the universal-java-* version and the new v2 API does not provide a way to see that
