<fangerer> antocuni: thanks for your review of PR #364. I would also kindly ask to review https://github.com/hpyproject/hpy/pull/339 (trace mode PR). That one should be easy review since it adheres to the design of the debug mode. I still need to implement the Windows support but before I do so, I want to know if you like it.
<antocuni> fangerer: thanks for pinging me here! I'm reviewing it
<fangerer> great, thank you
<fangerer> btw. if you didn't noticed, Petr Viktorin proposed https://peps.python.org/pep-0697 which is similar to what we do in https://github.com/hpyproject/hpy/pull/364. Discussion of the PEP should happen here: https://discuss.python.org/t/19743
<antocuni> yes, I've seen that but I didn't read it yet
<fangerer> 👍
<fangerer> I already commented
<antocuni> thanks
<antocuni> I'll try to catch up
<antocuni> fangerer: review done
<encukou> I'm Petr, in case you want to talk here :)
<cfbolz> encukou: 👋
<fangerer> antocuni: thanks; you are reviewing faster than I can fix the issues 😄 (but that's good)
<antocuni> should I try to be slower or to find less issues? 😂

<PurityLake> Hi all, I have returned, I was robert__ the other day. Thought I'd use my github username to make talking about issues easier
<mattip> hi
<PurityLake> Curious if anyone else has any opinions on naming for macros in this PR https://github.com/hpyproject/hpy/pull/367
<PurityLake> The suggested way makes a breaking change but the naming convention I made is just temporary

<mattip> now is the time for breaking changes, before HPy becomes popular
