<whitequark[cis]>
and i already have pcap capture available
<tomkeddie[m]>
Thank you, this will be really useful.

For anyone else playing along at home, this seems to be the Ethernet RGMII board that Catherine is using: "Development Board 2AR Domestic GOWIN Supporting NR-9 Ethernet RTL8211F Gigabit RGMII Development Board", for which so far the only "ships outside China" source I've found is https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005006011341346.html
<ewenmcneill[m]>
(But Google Translate on the TaoBao site suggests it is about 100 Yuan in China, which makes the price on that AliExpress listing fairly expensive. The circuit board ID is SZFPGA8211FD_ETH0505 AFAICT, but that's basically impossible to search for.)
<whitequark[cis]>
i just googled for "rgmii phy development board"
<ewenmcneill[m]>
Your Google results are clearly very different from mine 🙂 (Unsurprising: I'm on the opposite side of the world from you.)
<whitequark[cis]>
it's possible that by "googled" i meant "aliexpressed"
<whitequark[cis]>
idk i just wanted an rgmii board so one materialized on my desk
<galibert[m]>
Magic !
<ewenmcneill[m]>
Yes, I've tried aliexpressed too 😀 It took a while to stumble on the search term that found that one. (I found a bunch of others, but few of them have the convenient 2.54mm/0.1" breakout *and* a RGMII interface PHY on them....)

FWIW I have a strong suspicion it came in some random Gowin FPGA development starter kit too. I just haven't found which one.
<whitequark[cis]>
i've seen it mated with a devboard y es

Is there a point for having two bulk endpoints instead of just one?
<galibert[m]>
(The T48 has two, not sure why, they're both in/out, packet size 0x200)
<whitequark[cis]>
yes, it lets you have two applets right now, or also have an applet analyzer
<galibert[m]>
Oh yeah, in the case of glasgow that makes it separate targets, makes sense
<galibert[m]>
I guess the t48 uses ep1 for commands and ep2 for data or something like that
