08:19 <alexander> dnkl: I'm running Windows, so it's WSLg which I believe uses Weston, it's very possible that that weird setup causes these issues

08:53 <dnkl> In Wayland, a window can have "visual" focus, while still not receiving keyboard input. I suspect they mess up the window focusing, and that foot ends up in that state. Just a guess though.
