dnkl changed the topic of #foot to: Foot - fast, lightweight and minimalistic Wayland terminal emulator || 1.9.0 || https://codeberg.org/dnkl/foot || channel logs: https://libera.irclog.whitequark.org/foot
<Arnavion> They submitted patches to terminals to implement the terminal end of the feature queries, so there's no limit on what features can be tested

<Nulo> Is there a way to dynamically change the color scheme of foot on runtime?
novakane has quit [Quit: WeeChat 3.2]
<ifreund> Nulo: you can use escape sequences to do that, which is the only way I believe

<dnkl> Nulo: pywal can do it, through the escapes mentioned by ifreund. There's also https://codeberg.org/dnkl/foot/issues/708#issuecomment-251787
<Nulo> Oh! Will check out
<Nulo> I can't find a way for bash to *instantly* run that trap, but that's still very useful

<Arnavion> `man foot.ini` says the default section of foot.ini is unnamed, which is correct in that the entries in the default section don't go under a [$name] section. But it also refers to it as "SECTION: default". Also, in the code the section is parsed using the (optional) string "main"
<Arnavion> Also also, I have a need for naming this section because I want to `include` an override file after foot.ini has been parsed, which means I need a [main] include = "..." at the end of the file
<Arnavion> So, petition to make the name "main" part of the public documentation?
