I have foot running under two instances of GNOME w/ CSD server. Not issues that I can see so far, what issues have you seen lh

lh: GNOME doesn't implement the "decoration manager" protocol, meaning the "preferred" setting in foot is effectively ignored (except for preferred=none).
<dnkl>
i.e explicitly seeing it to "server" _shouldn't_ make a difference.
<dnkl>
but, I should be able to test under GNOME myself later today
<dnkl>
lh: only thing I notice is that if I drag the window, release the mouse button, and *without* moving the mouse (not even a single pixel), try to drag it again, then it doesn't work
<dnkl>
this is gnome's fault. When we start a drag, we get a "pointer leave" event. But when we stop the drag, we don't get a "pointer enter" event until either moving the mouse, or clicking a mouse button

I just noticed the issue again, so yeah CSD preferred didn't change anything. it's pretty intermittent so I guess I'll have to screen record at some point
