bengalih: keep in mind that converting from mp3 to aac is hardly worth it, unless the mp3 files use absolutely astronomically excessive bitrate. The quality loss to achieve any noteworthy space savings will be much too high.

using the latest version of ffmpeg fails with: Compiler lacks support for C11 static assertions. is there a way to disable those assertions?
