beastd, sure, do you want to write that news entry ?
<beastd>
When do we plan the next round of point releases? Would probably make it one news article for the new releases and mentioning 2.8 is unmaintained now

<beastd>
jamrial: thanks for updating downstreams wiki page
<beastd>
but I see now netbsd/pkgsrc still has 2.8

Hi, can you put 4k native with no lag, true audio, true levels, true volume, no difference with resolution, no crackling, true effect and image, for yt ?
<HumbleLeader>
if you have 16k quality source, shure
<tyuploscet>
Hum i see 144p to fullhd with three audio fréquences difference Somewhere
<tyuploscet>
Frequencies*
<HumbleLeader>
i think for higher resolutions on yt you need to have pro account, but I'm not yt producer so dunno

kierank: sorry, still no fix for get_buffer callback padding requirements documentation. chime in if you have any opinion please
<BBB>
would be good to document this somehow (or remove it)
<BBB>
I personally think it's a mistake to have hacks like that in the code if we don't clearly understand why it's there

<IndecisiveTurtle>
Lynne: Hii again xD. Soo regarding the storage image change I have it almost setup but hit a problem with descriptor bindings that I'm not sure how to solve. ff_vk_shader_add_descriptor_set seems assumes that each FFVulkanDescriptorSetBinding is a single binding. Given we are using descriptor arrays this is a problem when we want to bind 2 sets of them (input planes and output planes) as the first array will consume
<IndecisiveTurtle>
I thought of using the input planes as storage but I remember you mentioned it shouldn't be done. The only way I think to make it work without refactoring that code, would be to bind intermediate storage images as image2DArray in first binding and then the input planes after that as an array. But idk if that would be acceptable
<IndecisiveTurtle>
It didnt give any debug errors at first and wasnt sure why it just read 0 from the output planes but this is my most plausible theory
