<davidlt> I might need to double check if I properly enabled VF2 PMIC in v6.5-rc6 before doing rc7

<dgilmore> do we have docs on using edk2-riscv64 to boot a vm in libvirt?
davidlt_ is now known as davidlt
<davidlt> dgilmore, no
<davidlt> I am not sure support for QEMU virt machine even landed upstream yet.
<davidlt> Actually it landed in 2023 Feb.
<dgilmore> fedora has riscv64 support in qemu and libvirt, but it seems not set up to use ed2k, though there is also a ed2k rpm shipped in fedora for riscv
<davidlt> we never really tested it as most of our targets are U-Boot based
<davidlt> this is on my TODO list (but not a high priority right now)
<davidlt> IIRC ACPI bits are incoming too
<dgilmore> sure, was just hop[ing it was a simple way to spin up a VM as the docs do not work for me
<davidlt> Since we switched to physical builders I haven't been keeping up libvirt bits
<davidlt> We had some discussions with Andrea Bolognani (RH) this May about libvirt defaults
<davidlt> I can look into it, but it depends on how badly you need it.
<davidlt> Basically the higher interest from folks the higher priority it gets :)

<davidlt> VF2 technically has EDK2 firmware too (probably not upstream) and v6.6 kernel should have a decent enough support for the board (minus PCIe).
<dgilmore> I will poke at it
