<davidlt> Our RC6 has landed for some testing, let's try to boot that one

<davidlt> So far looks good, all cores are up, no kernel panics during boot, etc. stress-ng is running now too.
<davidlt> I might be able to relax regarding as it should work.

<davidlt> conchuod, do you think PCIe JH7110 stuff will be ready for 6.6?
<conchuod> No

<davidlt> I have been stressing v6.5 RC6 for a new hours now, and it looks good (at least on Unmatched).

<rwmjones> that link that I started yesterday just finished
<rwmjones> with an error :-)

<rwmjones> now trying with n=30000
<davidlt> There always gonna be limits. Note we don't have large code model is psABI.
<rwmjones> sure
<davidlt> Back at CERN it was really easy to hit various limits in toolchains, e.g. having very large functions (e.g. 10+MBs), or JIT'ing C++ code usually code if scattered in large distances (e.g. 13+GB apart).
<davidlt> Those all got improved/fixed on aarch64 and ppc64le side too, but it took time.
<davidlt> We actually have some packages failing to build with R_RISCV_PCREL_HI20, but I didn't have time to investigate.
<davidlt> Definitely should do that after F39 mass rebuild.
<davidlt> I am building kernel-headers & kernel-tools for v6.5 too
<davidlt> time to install those new podman/skopeo/buildah
<davidlt> Oh. I forgot to tag those builds in f39...
zsun has quit [Quit: Leaving.]
<davidlt> It's crazy how long container-selinux scriplet is running
<davidlt> That's because it's using a single thread for relabeling
<BryceII> blas (basic linear algebra software) is irksome,.. I've had to build atlas, flexiblas and openblas,.. all of them huge time consumers
<BryceII> so single thread hell from container-selinux seems like sweet relief to me atm 8)
