<davidlt[m]> I recall seeing those.
<thefossguy> maybe I shouldn't get hyper excited when the merge window opens up and should wait until friday :D
<davidlt[m]> There is nothing fancy for VF in v6.5 MW.
<thefossguy> Sir- Sir! I just want to boot the VF2 using mainline XD
<thefossguy> *Pratham leaves for college
<thefossguy> Bye :)
<davidlt[m]> I think, you need to wait a bit.

<Entei[m]> Had to pause working on Koji.
<Entei[m]> Today I fired up a new VM to setup koji from scratch, carefully copy-pasting each command. And I am still getting Database Outage error
<Entei[m]> For FQDN, I set a domain name (like koji.entei.org) in `/etc/hosts', and in all config files, I am using this particular address only. Can't point what I am doing wrong
<davidlt[m]> Well, look at all the logs looking for clues. Look at the code too.
<davidlt[m]> FQDN is definitely a complicated one IIRC.
<davidlt[m]> It took a few tweaks before I managed to get it right IIRC.
<davidlt[m]> Sorry, I was thinking about ProxyDNs
<davidlt[m]> Or maybe some other value
<davidlt[m]> You could also increase log level for koji-hub.
<davidlt[m]> Your koji hub logs should be in ssl_error_log IIRC.
<Entei[m]> Man the documentation really needs updating. I can't go guessing what koji internally expects.
<Entei[m]> davidlt[m]: will check. thanks
<davidlt[m]> Well, that documentation probably didn't change (much if at all) in 10+ years :)
<davidlt[m]> It acts as a "seed", then Fedora Infra ansible files gives you more hints, reading code also helps a lot, and then it's practice.
<Entei[m]> "POST /kojihub/ssllogin HTTP/1.1" 200 273
<Entei[m]> That's all log has to offer
<davidlt[m]> and don't be afraid to change the code while debugging :)
<davidlt[m]> Could you show me a full error message?
<Entei[m]> davidlt[m]: I don't think it's a particularly good practice.... :(
<davidlt[m]> Not too many folks are setting it up :)
<Entei[m]> 2023-07-04 14:20:39,081 [ERROR] koji: AuthError: unable to obtain a session (ssl auth failed: koji.ServerOffline: database outage)
<davidlt[m]> Change kojiweb config and enable PythonDebug = True
<davidlt[m]> That should dump you python exception information on web interface.
<Entei[m]> davidlt[m]: I haven't got to kojiweb config yet. Just trying to communicate with the hub via client using `koji moshimoshi`
<davidlt[m]> Ok, back to the basics.
<davidlt[m]> Is postgre running, and you are able to connect to it with postgre cilient?
<Entei[m]> Yep postgres is running. Even reloaded after creating those tables
<davidlt[m]> Did you correctly configure pg_hba.conf and listen_addresses for your setup?
<davidlt[m]> Did you setup SELinux for Apache (httpd) to access database?
<davidlt[m]> Check Audit/SELinux reports.
<Entei[m]> davidlt[m]: yep
<Entei[m]> some of these were not mentioned in docs, will try that
<davidlt[m]> Yeah, as I said you will figure out things are you go :)
<davidlt[m]> The config looks ok.
<davidlt[m]> If you change default postgre directory also make sure you have the right SELinux context set for the direcotries/files.
<davidlt[m]> Then again double check audit logs.
<davidlt[m]> I assume SELinux is blocking Apache from talking to Postgre.
<davidlt[m]> There probably will be more issues, but that's the 1st one (I assume).
<davidlt[m]> Again, I am randomly guessing here šŸ˜‰
<davidlt[m]> Ha! So Intel Barlow Ridge is USB4 v2 controller!
<davidlt[m]> I.e. 4 lanes of PCIe Gen 4.
<davidlt[m]> I am somewhat assume that Meteor Lake will have "Thunderbolt 5".
<davidlt[m]> It can do symmetric 80G each way, but also "asymmetric 128/80G link support" (?)
<davidlt[m]> Shouldn't that be 120/40?
<davidlt[m]> Ah, maybe this is a mode (selecting 120 or 80G per link).
