<davidlt[m]> btw, there is another SiFive HRC talk on late 13th, PST time
<davidlt[m]> that means I will be sleeping, so 14th for me :)
<davidlt[m]> I think JH7110 already have majority of bits posted for review on Linux kernel side, expect PCIe.
<davidlt[m]> That is WIP AFAIK.
<davidlt[m]> U-Boot to happen at some point too.
<davidlt[m]> neil: while not officially in StarFive Tech. JH7110 datasheet, but OpenSBI outpu shows `Boot HART Base ISA : rv64imafdcbx`
<davidlt[m]> That is B bit is set, which should be Zba and Zbb IIRC.

<davidlt[m]> Interesting that it also has 1.8GHz mode

<neil> i'll take some notes for you davidlt[m] ;)
<davidlt[m]> neil: are you at the summit?
<neil> no just attending virtually and watching some things
<davidlt[m]> video record Horse Creek presentation and share it ;)
<davidlt[m]> For me the presentation will be: Wednesday, December 14 • 12:40am - 1:00am
<davidlt[m]> I plan to sleep :)
<neil> sleep will be good :)
<neil> setting a reminder now
<neil> this one, right? "Introducing the Highest Performance RISC-V Development Board: Next Generation SiFive HiFive - Sam Grove, SiFive & Nikhil Krishna Gopalakrishna, Intel"
<davidlt[m]> Yes
<davidlt[m]> I cannot wait to see how the final product looks like.
<neil> i'm excited :D
<davidlt[m]> Yeah. Same here.
<davidlt[m]> Long time in a making it will finally see the light of day.
<neil> :)
<davidlt[m]> I worked on it thus I wonder what the final product looks like.
<davidlt[m]> neil: do any Rocky Linux folks plan to attend CentOS Dojo or/and FOSDEM in Brussels?
<neil> I am hoping to be there myself, and besides me there will hopefully be two other releng members: Sherif and pgreco (you may know him)
<davidlt[m]> So let's meet in real life, talk how Rocky Linux could happen :)
<neil> That sounds like an excellent plan :)

<davidlt[m]> I hope the product name is not "HiFive Pro P550"
<davidlt[m]> The board showed by CEO of SiFive does not seem to be developer board. That's the same board as already demoed by Intel this late summer/early autumn. There are features that I would not expect on a consumer product.
<davidlt[m]> Even for "developer board"
<davidlt[m]> We have to wait a bit for the the main presentation about it.
<davidlt[m]> Yeah, it's called "HiFive Pro P550 Development System"
<davidlt[m]> I am much more interested in Ventana right know.
<davidlt[m]> Somehow I doubt there is a product page with "buy" button.
<davidlt[m]> Otherwise 16-core, 3.6GHz, 128G of RAM, NVMe, rack-mount hardware, etc.

<neil> yeahh.. that sounds more like a "we'll invoice you" product
