dustymabe: I am not sure what I am doing wrong here. I just imaged a server with a RAID1 setup for root and when I go to reimage it again, by booting off the customized ISO, it installs to /dev/sda (and the system BIOS is set to boot /dev/sda) but it loads the old OS that is still on /dev/sdb

my only work around is to boot off a live instance of FCOS, clobber all partitions manually with sgdisk -Z and run coreos-installer install --offline -i /etc/install.ign /dev/sda

I even booted off the other drive listed (sdb) manually and it still loaded the old FCOS install.

the workaround seems reasonable. you can automate it by writing a script to do it and passing the script to coreos-installer iso customize --pre-install
