<jlebon> dustymabe: merged. do we have a plan yet to roll this out to stable? just fast-track the PR?

<stephanepoq> I think we have serveral systems with this problem: we have several server
<stephanepoq> are other hit by that too, maybe a possilbe solution around?
<fignew[m]> Hey y’all I’m building a live image with cosa (that is then ignotioned) I have a custom manifest that installs a package and enables a service via a post process. The end result is that the package is installed but the service isn’t enabled. I’ve seen the output of the systemctl enable in the logs..
<fignew[m]> * the logs.. Is there something I’m doing wrong?
mnguyen has joined #fedora-coreos
<jlebon> stephanepoq: you should be able to reboot to get out of it
<stephanepoq> after rebooting all additional installed ostree packages are gone
<jlebon> fignew[m]: make sure to use presets instead of enablement symlinks
<stephanepoq> re-install -> worked --> reboot -> gone again
<jlebon> stephanepoq: how are you installing the pkgs?
<stephanepoq> rpm-ostree install --apply-live --allow-inactive --idempotent htop
<jlebon> after running that, does it say htop is a layered pkg in the new deployment when you `rpm-ostree status`?
<stephanepoq> yes
<jlebon> so now if you reboot, do you boot into the new deployment?

<pwhalen> Good morning folks, hitting an issue with the f38 iot compose, - 'error: Handling treefile 'units': a path led outside of the filesystem'
<pwhalen> any idea?
<travier[m]> pwhalen: https://pagure.io/fedora-iot/ostree/blob/main/f/fedora-iot-base.json#_128 Maybe one of the units listed there does not exists anymore
<travier[m]> I would suggest using a postprocess script instead to make it easier to know which one is failing
<pwhalen> travier[m]: ah, ok. Thanks, for looking. I think there was a change there. Good suggestion on the script. Do you use something currently?
<jlebon> possibly a regression from v2022.16
