<beerman> farkuhar: nice, can it take specific optional deps? E.g. either qt5 or qt6, not both
<farkuhar> beerman: currently the only way for the user to express a preference, say qt6 over qt5, is by installing one of the optional deps but not the other. My fork follows the existing practice of taking cues from the host environment, which keeps the configuration files from getting cluttered with Gentoo-style USE flags.
<farkuhar> actually I did document a way for the user to encode their preferences in a config file. See line 716 of https://git.sdf.org/jmq/prt-get/src/branch/master/doc/prt-get.8
