<beerman> updating opt/freetype soon to use meson/ninja, lifts problem of cyclic dependency with harfbuzz, added patches for popular subpixel rendering and other stuff like unbreaking chromium (borrowed from arch) and... thats it. using revdep is advised, but I have been using that for months now and there is nothing to fear about it
<beerman> btw, mozjs78 is broken with rust 1.56 because of their included rust-simd crate. firefox recently got the same patch

<Belgacem1958> I'm facing certain issues while compiling "polkit-0.12" .
<beerman> Belgacem1958: for ports that i maintain report them via flyspray, thanks
<Belgacem1958> Beerman : thank you! I will do it soon.
<beerman> remeber to post full build logs, nobody likes pulling the same stuff out of your nose each time you encounter problems

<beerman> jaeger: pushed a patch for shared-mime-info with meson 0.60. the behaviour will switch to a soft warning (again) with 0.60.1, 0.61 will again make this a hard error

<beerman> or well, more true is that their meson build system is not set up properly, they use a weird script to generate LC_MESSAGES and the behaviour of the function has changed, it may produce errors elsewhere
