Is it possible to get a Wiki account, please? I will edit _everything_.
<SiFuh>
:-P
<farkuhar>
Be careful what you wish for, stenur. The wiki syntax on crux.nu is painful to write, if you have experience with cleaner implementations like DokuWiki.
<farkuhar>
But I share your frustration at the outdated content on some of the wiki pages. Part of that is due to the fast-moving development of the software being documented (prime example being Pipewire).
<SiFuh>
Most of Linux's documentation is outdated

It's not just a CRUX thing but 100% agree
<stenur>
still crying HOWTO
<stenur>
i have no idea of wiki really.
<farkuhar>
Coming from OpenBSD, SiFuh, you've seen the opposite extreme: meticulous efforts at keeping documentation aligned with new code.
<SiFuh>
Yup, should be a compulsary thing
<SiFuh>
However, I do find it funny we have man pages for commands that don't exist anymore ;-)
