<jaeger> regarding the pcie support on the pi 5: https://www.jeffgeerling.com/blog/2023/testing-pcie-on-raspberry-pi-5
<pitillo> morning, niice reading for a morning coffee. Thx jaeger
<beerman> ☕️
<r0ni> pine64 pkg repo updated with libdrm, mesa updates, cheers
<jaeger> :)
<beerman> working on the arm64 mesa port made me relook into x86_64s mesa again
<beerman> i put a few more ports for that into our repos a while ago (e.g. directx-headers, libclc, ..) but never actually finished, I was running a half baked overlay here (no problems)
<beerman> but I think I made a few more good changes
<beerman> pitillo https://crux.nu/gitweb/?p=ports/xorg.git;a=commitdiff;h=6cfb6de28e160beb464086e333e7f9984fc3c27e want a pr for that? ;D
<beerman> 4h:23m:40s for qt5 on the pi4 cluster :)
<pitillo> sure, butnI believe it will take a bit of time to integrate... 475/3700~ llvm.... 18h atm xD
<pitillo> may be for november...if it doesn't freeze on the way
<pitillo> pine64 1992/3741...
<beerman> oof :D
<beerman> i know r0ni has his repository up with packages for pine64, but i'll likely be building on the pi4 for it myself when I get around to build a basic system for it
<beerman> sometimes, it seems that native building is just straight up crazy ;)
<jaeger> May not be as bad on the pi 5 :)
