I just upgraded my BBB's custom kernel from linux-5.10.162-ti-r56 to linux-6.1.80-ti-r34; I ran 'make oldconfig' and didn't perform any other kind of re-configuration. When I boot into the new kernel the ethernet interface is gone. I've no idea what happened to it. It doesn't show in 'ifconfig -a' or 'lshw'. I didn't make any additional networking driver modifications. 'lspci' doesn't help on this

device. Any idea how I can track down what's misconfigured?

I did that a bit but I'm not sure what to look for as there's a bunch of noise from changing kernel major & minor versions. TI_CPSW is enabled, and the driver (according to 'lshw') in the previous version is 'cpsw', so I'm perplexed what could be wrong.
