<wens>
ukleinek: works on my end for BT over UART on a Quartz64, at least it loads firmware and starts correctly.

<ukleinek>
wens: yeah, I got that wrong. That error looks fatal, but in fact the only result is that DMA isn't used but the UART works nevertheless

ukleinek: I think in the past we often had issues with pl330 not having enough channels for all dma channels ... though I'm not sure where this half-baked dmas without dma-names comes from
<mmind00>
ukleinek: the uart connector on the qnap is the white port next to mac-address label or is that somewhere deeper in the case?

mmind00: yupp, the one labeled CN3 (didn't I mention that in the dts?)
<ukleinek>
Oh, I wrote CN2
<ukleinek>
mmind00: this should be fixed. Should I send a fixup, or a proper follow up patch?
<mmind00>
ukleinek: followup please
<ukleinek>
mmind00: ack
<mmind00>
ukleinek: from my viewing point through the drive bays I only see that mac sticker and the white port
<ukleinek>
mmind00: if you open the case there is another white port
<mmind00>
ukleinek: though no CN* label ... though haven't disassembled the device so far ;-)
<mmind00>
ukleinek: thanks so much :-) ... good to now that the serial port is really reachable without opening the case
<ukleinek>
mmind00: the one with the cables connected is the UART, the one on the left side is CN2 (no idea which pins it exposes)
<ukleinek>
mmind00: not that you loose your warranty! :-)

linusw__: I'm getting one dtc warning at the moment, but can't figure out if this is an old one or if it was introduced by something I merged: arch/arm/boot/dts/arm/integratorap-im-pd1.dts:251.3-14: Warning (dma_ranges_format): /bus@c0000000/bus@c0000000/display@1000000:dma-ranges: empty "dma-ranges" property but its #address-cells (2) differs from /bus@c0000000/bus@c0000000 (1)
<arnd>
either way it would be nice to get a fix for it
