<DC-IRC> [Discord] <ideallykafei> Got armbian working, but its still using llvm pipe for graphical applications
<DC-IRC> [Discord] <ideallykafei> How do i get the mali G610 working?
<DC-IRC> [Discord] <stonededge> Hmm, any reason why the kernel is reporting this clock-frequency when I have it set to something different in the device tree?
<DC-IRC> [Discord] <stonededge> ```[ 8.420771] rockchip-vop2 fdd90000.vop: [drm:vop2_crtc_atomic_enable] Update mode to 1080x1920p60, type: 16(if:MIPI1, flag:0x0) for vp3 dclk: 132000000

<DC-IRC> [Discord] <ideallykafei> Following this
<DC-IRC> [Discord] <stonededge> Hmm, any reason why the kernel is reporting this clock-frequency when I have it set to something different in the device tree? Is rockchip_drm_vop2.c not correctly passing the dts values... hmm...
<DC-IRC> [Discord] <ideallykafei> hardware acc
<DC-IRC> [Discord] <ideallykafei> Ah!
<DC-IRC> [Discord] <ideallykafei> Appreciated
<DC-IRC> [Discord] <ideallykafei> Segfaults
<DC-IRC> [Discord] <ideallykafei> My environment might be busted from previous failed attempts to get Weston working
<DC-IRC> [Discord] <ideallykafei> Will fix later
<DC-IRC> [Discord] <nagatoronyan> to install gnome `sudo apt install tasksel && sudo tasksel`
<DC-IRC> [Discord] <ideallykafei> What is tasksel? That's not gnome
<DC-IRC> [Discord] <Werner> https://wiki.debian.org/tasksel
<Herc> I use tasksel to upgrade a minimal img to xfce desktop version - works great
<DC-IRC> [Discord] <ideallykafei> Another package manager?
<Herc> aditional to apt Iยดd say
<DC-IRC> [Discord] <ideallykafei> Interesting I'll look into it
<DC-IRC> [Discord] <ideallykafei> I didn't realize this was linked to IRC
<DC-IRC> [Discord] <ideallykafei> You know with webhooks you can make it more seemless
<DC-IRC> [Discord] <ideallykafei> You know with webhooks you can make it more seamless
<DC-IRC> [Discord] <Werner> Feel free to setup and long-term maintain a new bridging solution for Discord, IRC and Matrix. Thanks ๐Ÿ™‚
<Herc> heh
<DC-IRC> [Discord] <ideallykafei> I actually have in the past, do y'all use an off the shelf bot or something custom? As for long term maintaining I can't even commit to a terminal font
<DC-IRC> [Discord] <Werner> Based on matterbridge since it supports lots of stuff oob. Not much maintenance in the past unfortunately.
* Herc uses hexchat
<DC-IRC> [Discord] <ideallykafei> Interesting
* Werner uses this too ;)
<DC-IRC> [Discord] <ideallykafei> What all do you have linked?
<DC-IRC> [Discord] <ideallykafei> I made a bot a while back that bridged discord, IRC and Minecraft
<DC-IRC> [Discord] <ideallykafei> Granted, it was Minecraft focused and ran *on* a Minecraft server
<DC-IRC> [Discord] <ideallykafei> But can't be too hard to do twice
<DC-IRC> [Discord] <Werner> As mentioned IRC (actually 2x IRC: Libera and OFTC), Discord and Matrix where latter focuses on main channel only for now
<DC-IRC> [Discord] <ideallykafei> I should overhall my bot, make it platform agnostic and extensible fir more platforms
<DC-IRC> [Discord] <ideallykafei> Another project for my ADHD
<DC-IRC> [Discord] <ideallykafei> I should overhall my bot, make it platform agnostic and extensible for more platforms
<DC-IRC> [Discord] <Werner> ๐Ÿ‘
<DC-IRC> [Discord] <infinity_q> I wouldn't usually ask for help, but I guess I will ask here. my NAS (an opi5+) was running the bsp6.1 rkr3 kernel. I upgraded the kernel to rkr5 and I lost networking through the ethernet.(rtl8125). I reverted back to rkr3 and it still doesn't work. Linux-firmware is installed, I am only using dhcpcd for my networking stack.
<DC-IRC> [Discord] <infinity_q> and before anyone roasts me, my OS setup is not even remotely supported by armbian, I am merely asking for help here because of the kernel I'm using
<DC-IRC> [Discord] <Werner> Probably userspace-related then. I have an 5+ here with that rkr5 kernel and no issues with networking: https://paste.next.armbian.com/noyuzalera
<DC-IRC> [Discord] <infinity_q> hmmm, probably. but I haven't changed anything other than the kernel so I'm kinda at a loss. ig I'll check dhcpcd
<DC-IRC> [Discord] <Werner> Checked `dmesg` for r8169 related issues? Also is r8169 module loaded?
<DC-IRC> [Discord] <infinity_q> r8169 is loaded, and nothing in dmesg
<DC-IRC> [Discord] <infinity_q> dhcpcd has a bunch of *DHCP lease has expired*
<DC-IRC> [Discord] <infinity_q> weird
<DC-IRC> [Discord] <infinity_q> @werner thanks for the help, although it ended up not being a kernel *or* user land issue
<DC-IRC> [Discord] <infinity_q> stupid router *just hapened* to refuse to hand out leases during the kernel upgrade
<DC-IRC> [Discord] <Werner> Odd. But glad you figured it out
<DC-IRC> [Discord] <superkali> Finally a good sign for the hdmi on the radxa rock 5 itx
<DC-IRC> [Discord] <superkali> On kernel 6.14 ๐Ÿ˜
<DC-IRC> [Discord] <gambl0r> It's the year of the Linux desktop on SBCs ๐Ÿ™‚
<DC-IRC> [Discord] <shivansps> finally hdmi works?
<DC-IRC> [Discord] <superkali> https://github.com/armbian/build/pull/7835 soon ๐Ÿ™‚
